Need Help Finding Interior Trim Piece for 2010 or Newer 4Runner Please!

I am in need of the black trim piece that goes around the driver side of the center vent dial. Here is the photo that shows what I need. Is there anyone that is parting one out that can help me please?

Seems like that should be readily available at a dealer if it’s in a 5th gen. That bigger screen I think became available in 2021 I think.

I bet the dealer is going to rake you over the coals for these a little piece like this.

FYI - product in Amazon link are just decal overlays, not the actual trim piece.

 

Yes, that overlay needs the stock missing piece to stick to.

It's either ebay or junkyard for this.

I guess I should have mentioned if someone wants "new". Otherwise as you noted, ebay/salvage yard.

 

It seems that the OP only needs these little pieces that go directly around the vent damper adjuster. So the Amazon covers are probably exactly what’s needed for the situation.


Even if the ones on the amazon link just stick on, it would probably be the simplest and cheapest way to “fix” this. Because it wouldn’t surprise me if toyota make you buy the entire headunit for this piece. (That’s assuming that the vent bezels are part of the head unit on the earlier 5th gens. It might be worth checking if a 2010 sells those pieces seperately).

 

If it bothers OP enough to replace, having a stick on part that won't sit at the same elevation as the other will likely bug them too. It's a thing that just winks at you.
