    Hey everyone!

Couple of weeks ago I bought this 4x4 2008 4Runner with a V8 engine from the United States and had it shipped to Curacao. 4x4 V8 engines aren’t very common on my island, so this is an exciting project for me.
I’ll be keeping you all posted on my progress, and I’ll definitely be asking for suggestions and troubleshooting️ tips if I run into any problems along the way.

Looking forward to sharing updates and learning from this amazing community!

Looks like a great starting point for a project.

What are your plans for it?

Where in the US did you purchase it from? Any issues with rust?

Thanks! I’m planning to customize it for off-roading. I bought the 4Runner in Massachusetts and had it shipped to Miami first, then from Miami to the Caribbean.

I am running into some corrosion issues—it looks like the car hadn’t been driven for a long time. Even the brake discs are heavily corroded. I did a full inspection of the undercarriage, and I’m planning to sandblast it, then spray and apply an undercarriage coating to protect it.
