Hey Y'all,
Hoping to get involved in the community... Oakland resident.
Recently acquired a 2023 TRD Pro, that has some mods that I need to sort out.
From what I can tell, all top line stuff.
Unfortunately I do not have any info on previous ownership, or what shop built it.
To the best of my knowledge the truck is from the DFW, TX area.
If there are any local 4R guys who can help, or local shops you can direct me to, it would be most appreciated.

I felt Swat Customs in Fremont knew what they were doing when I spoke with them. They did a good alignment on all my adjustable suspension when a bunch of other places couldn't.

However as another member here states in the previous page:

So maybe also check out Beep's Offroad, or talk to them first.

Anybody have dealings with Shaffer's in Union City, or the Gear Shop in Livermore?

 

Mike and Annie run a great shop. My money is with Shaffe's.

 

I have used Modified Motorsports in Livermore for mods. I would use them again.

 

Back in the Bay Area for a few and am thinking of heading down to the Big Sur region to run the Old Coast...Checked the county road page and it appears to be open! May try rolling the dice for tomorrow if anyone's around.

 

Hey Bay, any shop recommendations? I have an '03 Limited Runner.

 

Question: Has anyone recently done Body Mount Chop on 5gen? I'm looking for somebody who has experience with those. TIA!

 

Hey, welcome. I live in Concord and I have someone who is a mechanic and he has been a great deal of help to me. He lives in Antioch and he is solid. If you want his info, let me know. He has been working on all my vehicles and I refer him to my clients too.

 

If you are looking for a shop in the area, there is a guy here on the forum that is in San Jose that does interesting work on Toyotas.
