I know the feeling. I was very resistant to get another GSD as I had a hard time recovering from the loss of my last one. My neighbors GSD used to come to my house but when they left my kiddo really wanted one.

I unexpectedly lost my best friend in the world on 04/01/2025. When the Vet gave him the injection (euthanized) I was eye to eye with him and saw his eyes frost over, I hyperventilated, then roared like a Lion at the top of my lungs. I will never be the same, cried for two weeks, still do from time to time. I miss him so much, a part of me died that day.

 

Said it was from drinking lake water, some algae.

 

Sorry bud. We get that here in Austin area too.

My little Walleye. Not giving her any more medicine. Cough suppresant is discontinued, so. She is fine.

 

Well, had a little scare with Mercedes. Stoped coughing only now and then. So I fattened her up from 3 pounds to 3.8 pounds and she blew a knee out vet said take these the next day she is on all four again!
