    • Choose your fitment: 2010–2024 or 2025+ Toyota 4Runner
    • Low-profile aerodynamic profile with wind deflector
    • Adjustable crossbars with T-slot channels

We need a roof rack to prove to my wife a full length rack would look great! She says they look silly and we would never use them (coming for the gal that says we don't have enough room for our camping gear). My goal would be to mount our mountain bikes up top with a pelican case in the middle.

Please save me from playing Tetris with our bikes on the back!

    Ohhh. Very nice.

Fairly new to the 4Runner group. Need to move all my gear from my Tacoma that was totaled. DIY fly rod carrier, DIY water tube, solar panel and refurbished Pelican case for camping and fishing. And of course need to find a home for my Cali Raised LED 42" slim light bar.

One month ago when I brought it home.

This would honestly be incredible. I have been itching for a roof rack like this. I think they not only look incredible but are so useful. I feel like this would give me more reason to go on more trips and get out there and explore to be honest. We don’t go too many places at this current point in life, but I would like to change that. I think this would free up interior space and be easier to haul things like kayaks, rooftop cases, and who knows…maybe even a tent one day. To me the ideas are endless on something like this.

I need a rack to handle... the weight of the world

But since my 4R is a Lexus and I doubt it'd fit... I would find some other deserving person to give it to...

Why do you need a roof rack, or where would this one take you?

I just got my first 4Runner a few weeks ago and need one because my wife would stab me if I ordered one right now.

    :spending:

I'd like to build this out to take my family camping. Not planning on a roof top tent, but would love to mount an awning, extra storage, water, assorted gear, etc.

    Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

New 4Runner owner here, as I purchased it just over a month ago to replace a Jeep Rubicon. I'd like a roof rack to carry fuel and extra gear, plus mount an awning. I spend most of my weekends exploring the Colorado Plateau and Rocky Mountains (depending on season) and this rack would help me continue to get deep into the backcountry.

Would love a new proper roof rack. The inside (back storage) of our 2023 TRD ORP is used for our dog crates (we have two Rottweilers). We go on many backcountry climbing trips, and a viable roof rack would be a godsend when it comes to packing all our gear!

The factory TRD Pro rack is alright for our kayak hauling, but I'd like a full rack so we can put a lot more stuff up there during our family road trips! We would for sure put it to good use and I think would look a lot more sleeker on there too. Having the sunroof still operational is a nice bonus as well. IMG_1925.jpg

Thanks for giving the chance to win. We travel a lot with our 2 dogs and they own the 2nd row so it limits everything to the back of the 4Runner. A rack would be nice to be able to put dog crates, luggage and kayaks. Adding lights would be nice, too.

with a little one on the way and our love for camping, it will be nice to start off-loading a lot of the cargo to the roof. also, it would go great with already installed caliraised rock sliders :transformer:

Well, I think you should give it to @Beachguy so we can make “nice rack” comments. Or, give it to me and he can comment on my rack. But make sure it’s big. I’m pretty sure we both like big racks. Not huge, just… proportional. The 4runner is athletic, so you wouldn’t want it bouncing around all the time. Though, it is important to support a nice rack so that it doesn’t get stretched and distorted over time. Another important feature is hand feel. Especially when mounting.

I’ll stop here before I get banned. Lol

Why I want it and what would I do with it?
I have thought long and hard about what I would do with a nice rack of my very own. I’m not sure that I could share that here as it seems somewhat private.

however, since my tundra got totaled on the Fourth of July by a drunk driver, I’ve been having a hard time figuring out how to carry all the crap that I used to carry like lumber, skis, etc. I have four little boys and we all ski so it will be nice to have a place to keep their skis without getting snow and water on the inside of the 4runner. Mostly, I’d use it like a truck bed on top of the 4runner.

can we talk about headlights next? Maybe I’ll make a new thread called 4play. Lol

I traded my Tacoma for the 4R 2 years ago. With my son in scouts, the extra room up top would free up more space inside for shuttling more kids when needed. And now that both of our kids are finally more interested in the outdoors, a roof rack would allow me to take the whole family kayaking instead of 1 kid at a time.

Why do you need a roofrack, or where would this one take you?

I need a quality, full size roof rack to accommodate more gear! Utilizing the stock rack with some cross-bars has been sufficient, but as I continue to build my ORP I realize it’s time to step up my game. I would love to add an awning and the premium roof rack would allow me to fit a 270* and would give me space for a lightbar; two things my current setup does not allow!

I need something to match my Caliraised LED molle panels and shelf, that will also allow more roof box options. The mall garages will be easier to enter with a low pro rack.

Boy, this is starting to feel like one of those times when someone shows you their nice rack and then won’t let you touch it.
