As mentioned in another thread I bought a ‘24 TRD Pro and the previous owner the Westcott spacer lift on the front only.

I’m now considering options to lift the rear and level it out. I could install the Westcott rear spacers, or replace the rear springs with Eibach or one of the other spring options for the TRD Pro.
What are the pros/cons of spacers and springs?

We’re also likely to install a roof rack and roof top tent early next year. Would that extra weight make a difference in choosing to go with the spacers or springs?

Spacers are generally frowned upon in the off road world. If you want the "look" and your ride is a pavement princess go with spacers. If you plan on doing any meaningful offroading, change out the springs and do a proper suspension setup.

If you plan to add weight, springs.

Don't mess with spacers. Do it right, and proper rear springs are not that expensive. Take a look at a thread on Dobinsons suspension and in there you will see 8 or so different types of rear springs and that will be the best way to give you choices depending on weights and applications.

do it right and do springs in the rear. I haul random shit all the time that could be 300-600 lbs of gear and people, so i went with eibach T13 coils that also gave 1.5” of lift. Fully loaded with vacation gear and 2 adults + 9 yr old it looks like this. Unloaded it might go up 1/2”

    Ride quality is great.

I don't think there are many spring lift options below 1". If you're only going for a minimal rear lift, then spacers are it.

However, if you're lifting 1" or more, then might as well get springs.

Does anyone know which companies have rear springs that work with the ‘24 TRD Pro Fox suspension? I know Eibach does but I haven’t seen others that are compatible with the ‘24.

Ideally, I’d like to get a rear spring that has 1.25”-1.5” lift but I’m not sure if anyone has that available.

to my knowledge there is nothing different with a 2024 than a 2011. I can take my 2022 eibach springs and put them in my 2011

    bilstein, dobinson, etc

Dobinsons has some options, as does bilstein. Dobs can end up higher than intended, especially if they arent matched to the constant weight you carry.

They also sell half inch spacers for the rear, which might be the way to go if you want to stay with the stock springs.

A spacer for the rear coils (if kept to a reasonable half to 1 inch lift) is nothing to be worried about, even if you off-road. However, front spacers can cause problems if used to lift the front coilover struts, and should be avoided if you off-road.
