Best Roof Rack accessories for Gobi Rack (ratchet straps, storage, etc…)

    Im new to roof rack storage as the only times I ever used the top of an SUV to move anything is when I moved a mattress and some drywall, plywood (used twine on short drive).

    I’m looking for good ratchet straps (black color preferred) and good storage totes. Any recommendations?

    I went to harbor freight and the only ratchet straps I saw were yellow (prefer black)

    Also, will any Husky, Home Depot brand tote work or is there something better. Primarily want to use this to store luggage type items. Also, want it to be somewhat water proof as I expect to encounter rain sometimes on my trips. Just want to get the right stuff as I am new to this. If there is something that is recommended for Gobi rack, I will consider.

    Will use this for roadtrips, camping trips, etc…

    there are quite a few brands for storage. i have two pelicans. the 1740 fits perfectly across the back inside between the wheel wells and will fit on the rack nicely if you move the cross bars a little bit. ive had good luck w pelicans on facebook marketplace. roam, plano, apache all make decent weatherproof cases as well.

    i got a set of ratchet straps from lowes that are neon green, they are easier to see for me lol.
