    Hi Guys,
I have a 2005 V8 and have an ongoing transmission leak problem. It doesn’t seem to leak around town but after a highway drive there’s a lot of fluid covering the transmission and to the rear of the transmission. I have already replaced the pan gasket and it improved when I also replaced the Safety Switch seal. It seems to be coming from the right hand side but the oil could be coming from the top side too.
Has anyone experienced this kind of issue before?
    Thanks.

Seal in input shaft of trans to torque converter? Could the trans be overfillled with atf somehow?

    Thanks for your feedback.
I have tried a few more things but still have the same intermittent problem. I removed, cleaned and resealed the transmission cooler lines along with each of the switches.
After doing this it drove with no issues for a week until another highway/mountain road drive which triggered the leak again. The oil is red so is definitely the transmission oil. The flanges of the transmission are relatively clean and you would expect a build up at the bottom of the leaking flange but it seems to be coming from higher up or centrally on the transmission.

I can feel that there is a vent line of the transfer case and another one that comes off the top of the transmission but it is difficult to see the top as it heads off towards the intake system. This is where I believe the leak is coming from now but trying to access it is a problem.

    Thanks for any advice.

Is the fill plug still in? It's near the top/right side of transmission
