My recently purchased 4RUNNER has spots on every window. I've used window cleaner, goo gone, and even mineral spirits without success. Even tried cleaning the inside. Plan to take it to a window tint place for their opinion. Thanks IMG_0672.jpg

Might need a dedicated water spot remover. I use a Citrus one from Chemical Guys that works really well, but there are many out there.

You have hard water spots, you need a dedicated hard water removal solution and possibly a visit to a detail shop.

A sliced lemon will do wonders for hard water spots. Just be careful, as it will start corrosion on some metals.

Thanks for the info. A google sight gave several different techniques, baking soda, vinegar, lime, etc. I understand that care has to be taken to not damage the rest of the truck.
Nap time, bought a cover earlier and plan to keep this 4Runner 's paint from looking like the Tacoma's.
    Thanks

I used them kinda in the middle of the window to see if it would work and it didn't.
thanks for the suggestion, looked up some stuff on Amazon, put it in the list. Going to try home remedies first - baking soda and water then vinegar and water.
    On a small spot.

I just thought of something, you can pick up Maguire’s scratch X at Walmart that takes out scratches in paint may help with the glass

like above posts mentioned, I've always had good luck with citrus/pumus cleaners. But make sure you're not using that on tint, the acid will eat away the plastic of the tint and the glue.

I’ve used diluted vinegar on a previous car to decent results, just gotta make sure to rinse it all off and towel/blow dry after that.

+1 on the Chemical Guys water spot remover. It works great. The instructions say to give the car a thorough rinse after using it.
