Just curious if a 2022 TRD Pro Stereo fit in my 2011 4Runner Limited. Both units are JBL. Thoughts?

Not unless you replace the OEM amp also and get specific JBL wiring.

No, the 2011 had the JBL stereo, a very confusing style wiring and amplifier, and sub.
The newer stuff is totally different, plugs different, ect.

In order to put that stereo in a 2011 you would likely have to have some sort of custom harness and probably a maestro box to change the signals like steering wheel controls and audio controls so the newer radio would work with the older system.

You can get an aftermarket unit for the 2011 that looks just like the 2021+ radio though

A specific JBL swap wiring harness already exists and everything will work from steering controls to all the switches. It's plug and play but very expensive since the amp has to be swapped out too along with the head unit and the navigation unit.

Either stay with JBL or go complete aftermarket with a reputable brand. That Chinese knockoff is mediocre at best and not worth the headache.
Now if it was a non JBL unit, it would be a $1000 swap and 30 mins install time. My 2011 with a 2022 Headunit.
