Hello everybody, I recently had a check engine light come on as well as my VSC OFF lights on the other side of the dash. I took it to the shop, and the mechanic ran the codes, and it showed as 'CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE' and 'THROTTLE VALVE HOUSING' as the problem. After getting that fixed, the lights on the dashboard are still on. When starting the car now, it sounds unusually loud, and the RPM rests at around 1000. (For context, I do have an aftermarket exhaust after being rear-ended previously, so the start-up is louder than normal but unusually so now.) And after driving the car, when I come to a stop, the car jerks as if it's jerking from downshifting each gear while coming to a stop. Almost as if it's stopping and going slightly. Not intense jerks, but noticeable as an issue. I had brake pads replaced about a year ago and don't think it would be the issue. I already plan to take it back to the shop and ask what's going on, but I thought I'd post on here for some other advice. Thank you!

Did the mechanic rerun the codes after the install to see if at least one of those two issues is resolved (from the computers perspective?). To me, sounds like something is still going on with the Throttle Valve Housing, whatever that is.

If the lights are still on the shop didn't fix it, take it back and tell them they need to fix it!!
