On my 96 4runner sr5 ive been fighting with a missfire on 1,2,3 for a while, finally I decided to buy some noid lights after testing everything else the noid light doesn't fire off (rarely it will but never for longer than a few seconds) so I wanted to ask if anyone else has had this issue and if so what could be causing it and what you might have done to fix it.

    Any help would be appreciated

When you say 1,2,3...do you mean the ones shown in the diagram above? That would mean you have an issue on both banks...kind of unusual.

Are all your Coil Packs and Spark Plugs and Wires either TOYOTA or DENSO? TOYOTAs MUST have OEM electrical parts.

Pull your spark plugs. What story are they telling you?
