I been looking to build a custom drawer setup. I'd like to get some ideas from those that done that.

I'd like to make some that aren't to tall that would truly compromise the rear cargo area. Something where I can still haul my large dogs in the back.

    So show us your setup.

check out YouTube "Flatpack Overland Drawer System". Seems like an easy DIY which looks pretty nice.

I finished this a day before my trip to Tuktoyaktuk (from Toronto), and leaned a lot about what I did and didn’t like about it. I am going to rebuild this to function a bit better, and hopefully reduce some weight. I had no idea how heavy the drawer slides would be.

Drawer height is 7 1/2 inches. Original base platform was solid piece of 3/4 plywood. Made some weight adjustments and cut sections out. I will probably remove the base and go with 3 strips of steel flat bar. Drawers are not full length due to the 8 inch subwoofer.

In hindsight, I will probably re-do the back of my drawer box and angle it, so the 2nd row seatbacks can recline again. Hardly anybody rides in the 2nd row and the dogs don't complain. Being my 1st time building one, I missed a thing or two.

Oh I like the idea of the coffee maker mounted already that's slick!

I used the back angle of the seats for chairs. They slide perfect behind the drawers and the seats.

My setup below, but taking out now to get it ready to sell.
