    Hey,
Long time lurker first time poster. Have a groaning, squawking noise near front passenger suspension. Shop has tried to repair twice first was new brakes, second new UCA, bushings, ball joint. After each fix, noise goes away and then comes back almost two weeks later. Noticeable with acceleration/deceleration level changes. Noise and vibration still emits from UCA general area or near the top of shock/strut. Repair shop states that they can't pin point and won't throw anymore parts at it without root cause. I drained my savings on last 2 repairs and am out of options. Have extensive video where rocking vehicle front end documents. Thinking that maybe a bolt is just loose...maybe just hoping that's it. Maybe some insight here long shot

What year is it? There is a known differential issue - mine had it and its for some 2021-2024 models. Google TSB 0075-23 Put the 4R in 4WD and see if the sound goes away.

TSB: Some 2021 - 2024 model year 4Runner vehicles may exhibit a cyclic growl/groan noise from the front of the vehicle while driving in 2WD at around 30-50 mph. The noise subsides when the vehicle is put into 4WD. This condition may be more prominent in colder temperatures. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

That is really an amazing piece of information and advice. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I can add it to the list of places to troubleshoot. I bought certified used so I am probably outside of any warranty on that. But the noise I'm encountering occurs while park, low speed and maybe not as noticeable at higher speeds. But I can throw it in 4wd and see if that alleviates or reduces. The location of the sound tracks to about the location of that front differential support.

The other thing is the needle bearing. Certified used is 7/100,000. It saved me because i was at like 75k miles when that differential groan occurred. Saved me 5k dollars. In the TSB it will tell you if you're impacted by the VIN. If you're VIN range is not listed then you're fine. Id then move over to the needle bearing which will also cause that groan noise. If you're under the 7/100,000 warranty Id take it to toyota
