2017 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium
Toytec Ultimate lift, SSO Slimline bumper and 10,000# winch, emblem blackout, hood scoop wrap.
Yesterday I went with a friend to pick up a 2019 Pro in Albuquerque (180 miles).

We went to Alb. in a stock 2019 SR5 loaner and came back in the Pro. I drove both vehicles for 30 or so miles to get a feel for them. When I got back home I immediately took my 2017 TRD Off Road with KDSS and Toytec Ultimate lift for a spin.

Impressions: The Pro is a little higher than the SR5, maybe 1", and the ride is a bit firmer. The handling seems some tighter with the Pro and the Pro has less corner sway. The 2017 Off Road with the lift has a firmer ride and less corner sway as well as less front end diving when breaking as either the Pro or the SR5.

The Pro is really a nice vehicle and the black is exceptionally nice with a dark blue cast to it in bright sunlight. As far as functional upgrades, it has the Fox suspension, a cool roof rack, upgraded tires and wheels and the upgraded JBL sound system. Other than that, the only difference between it and the Off Road is cosmetic as near as I can tell.

Like me, my friend is coming from a Rubicon and he is really impressed with the Pro.

This is just my impression. Your mileage may vary.

Sounds about right, except for the "cool roof rack" part. :anonymous::D
