Just bought key fobs off Amazon and researched how to program them. My problem is during the 10 lock/unlock button sequences my locks stop responding and just slight clicks. Sounds like weak solenoids. After about 6 attempts at programming I decided to hook up jumper cables from the wife's car, same result... Any ideas on whats going on? Thanks

If you have weak lock actuators on one of the doors you will have to recruit friends. So you basically manually lock and unlock the non working door, if the faulty door is the hatch, you'll have to replace the actuator.

Same issue here...after the 5th lock/unlock sequence, the unlock get "weak" and does not unlock all the way. Did the actuator solve the problem?

I think your problem may have started with......."Just bought key fobs off Amazon"

The source of the FOB matters not. I can't get it into "Programming Mode". This precedes any interaction with the FOB.

I figured it out!!! Do not use the lock/unlock button inside the car--use the key in the door:

    1. Unlock all doors and open the driver's door. Leave open.
    2. Insert key into ignition, remove it
    3. While still open, insert key into driver's door and Lock/Unlock 5 times
    4. Close door and reopen
    5. While open, insert key into driver's door and Lock/Unlock 5 times
    6. Inset key into ignition and turn to "on (do not start) then off.

    Locks will cycle

    7. On FOB, press lock and unlock simultaneously
    8. Then press unlock

This addresses the issue of those who have older actuators that can't quite make it through the lock/unlock cycle.
