While the stickers alone don't fall under the definition of stolen valor-they are not claiming to be in the military for personal gain- I agree that those stickers except for the bomber give the false impression you were a part of them-for that reason they should be removed. Patriotic stickers are more than fine, but these are too specific for anyone not specifically represented by them in my view.

You guys who are telling him to lose the stickers are thinking too short term. What's it gonna be next? And then you give in that time too. And then it's something else. At some point, you'll have to take a stand and say "No." The hard part is deciding at what point that will be. For me, that point would be sooner instead of later. But it ain't my wife or my decision.

    I figure you're correct, glwood.

Maybe Rick G can reach a compromise -- remove the planes and military-related stickers (or put up way smaller versions), and keep the IH sticker. ;)

I’d ask here to trade in the hybrid as that is clearly a political statement to drive a more fuel efficient vehicle.

haha she was. She was a bartender. And I knew what I was getting into when I was 28… in the end we both cheated on eachother, doesn’t matter if I did it first (I’m single and you’re in a relationship with me, duh) or she cheated first.

I walked away, didn’t get mad, didn’t say I word, and stood my ground and “doubled down” over the next year this same 9/10 any guy in here would drool over, I ignored every text, drunk voicemail, bootycall, new years call at 12.

but you also have to understand that’s how alot of women are now in 2025 then say 1990 or 1980s..

Yes my current gf/fiance* I would do anything for, and she’s sitting next to me in bed, and I asked her about the stickers and she laughed and said “I could care less what you put on your vehicle, it’s yours” meanwhile she has pink sparkle steering wheel cover in her GX lol

I'm just here to say "wifey" is a very annoying term and I cringe when people use it.

I was married for 18 years; divorced in 2007 and nothing serious since. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a woman around, and then I read a thread like this and I come to my senses. :D

The issue is not the stickers. Whether or not you put stickers on your vehicle is a trivial topic and you both know that. It might be worth trying to understand the real issue.

What % of people will even care to look at your vehicle and know what they actually represent? People see the silhouette of the objects and see a plane. Otherwise, very few cares what they are. It’s the same as flags flying in your yard or from your house. Certain things are very representative of who you are.

OP has some interesting threads on here.

Correction: OP has some threads on here.

It would appear his wife has been ball busting him to buy Costco oil to save some money. She was riding shotgun when they saw a 6th gen get totaled. Then, she got salty because he intervened in a gas theft. She wants these fucking stickers off. But, she's cool with giving strangers a ride home after their catalytic convertor gets stolen.

I may have missed one or two threads but I grew weary of my self-appointed task.

I’ve never seen a point to putting political stickers on your vehicle, flying their flags or wearing their clothes. No one is going to change their political views because of your stickers, etc. It may attract unwanted attention from lunatics though.

The point is to signal to people that think like you that they are not alone. The most effective way to suppress opposition is not to prosecute them, but to gaslight them into thinking they are alone.
