I just bought my first 4Runner. It is a used 2015. The USB port on the front console does not work. I was looking to check the fuse; however, the fuse box doesn't have a cover and I don't know which number it would be. Any recommendations? I am new to this forum page. Thanks

It runs to the headunit. Not really for charging.

Thanks. Is there anything I can do so that it can charge?

Too many to list & Worth every penny!
It is capable of charging as well.
    Maybe unplugged from head unit.
I could charge my phone in my 2014 with mine.

you would basically have to add a charging USB port which the dealers did offer as a replacement for the power port. I bought the kit and it basically T taps into the power port wiring.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
The main purpose for that port is data transfer. But if you have a lightning USB-A cable, it can charge your cell phone. It will charge it slowly, because it's not a dedicated power source, but it will charge or, if you're playing music from your phone, stop it from draining the battery.

Your best option is to find a dedicated USB source that is mainly for charging USB devices.
