Every time I start it the sound cuts off and on about 6-7 times then stays on kind of like its buffering. FM is fine and my other car never does it on the same streets. Anyone else's doing this or know if there is an update?

    I have a 24 for reference
Well it’s satellite. I live in south Florida, and when say like listening to the news or something, it will cut off for a few seconds that come back. Or like driving under a bridge, tunnel, or when I’m at the bank it cuts out. I chalk it up to like a dead zone for cell phones.

but, if you can recreate this issue consistently and know it not what im describing, maybe see if your antenna on your roof is in good shape. I’m not sure if there is updates buried inside the infotainment, maybe.

    What year model?
    Is it under warranty ?
When was the last update on the head unit?

    Too many unknowns

2023 as title indicates, plenty of warranty never been updated, checking to see if similar vehicles have had this issue. Good idea called Sirius, I will do that.

Ooops, in plain sight in the title.
Check to see if there is an update for your head unit from Toyotas website after checking to see what’s in your infotainment.
    https://www.toyota.com/firmware-updates

If you are good there, maybe Sirius can help, if that’s a no go…. time to go to the dealership.
Make a vid for the tech so they can see exactly what’s happening.
Earlier T4R head units had a lot of issues with entune. Mine was replaced on my 2014 for random restarts, problems stopped.

    Best of luck.

You can log into your account or call Sirius to have them reset your signal. I have the same issues Taylor described, but overall, very few interruptions.

I would rather chop off my ding-dong than have to call sirius support. I think they purposefully speak broken english to the fourth degree just to make you comply. Nope, nope, nope. But yeah, big buildings, tunnels, overpasses can all affect it.

It's like calling any of the cell phone companies, you rarely get a person who speaks good English or is smart enough to understand what you are saying.

Get your signal reset. Last time I did it over the phone with Sirius, which honestly took about 5 minutes. But you can probably initiate that through your online account.
