I need some help with my 2006 Sport - I’m in the process of replacing my fender liners, which I’ve figured out, and installing an OEM used front bumper (I removed a steel bumper, so I had to find all the brackets). I completed the passenger fender liner and wanted to attach a new bumper support to that side (the upper plastic one, I didn’t buy OEM, photo attached). It has 2 built in clips, and I see the holes they slip into, but I can’t figure out how they clip in, I have to be missing something. Any one have to replace these? I can’t find any install videos or instructions.

I found a YouTube video of a bumper replacement that had a decent view of the support, and it looks like a bolt or something is inserted into one of the clip holes (circled), probably to spread the clip and tighten it, but I can’t find the procedure or a part number for that bolt or whatever it is.

Pretty sure they snap in, push in hard and they snap into the fender if i remember correct.

Ok so these attach with 2 self tapping screws that go into 2 obvious holes, and they spread the clips on the support. Pretty easy but if you’ve never done it, it’s a little hard to see it. There are no YouTube videos or explanations I could find, so I hope this helps someone in the future.

Yep, it goes up through the hole in the fenderwell liner and into the bracket. I’ve got all the screws and bolts figured out and installed, looks great!
