Roof rack platform you can stand on

Hello, I am looking to buy a new 4runner in the next few months, and I was wondering what kind of options I could find out there where I could put a platform on the roof rails that I would be able to stand on.

The reason for this, would be so I could use it for an elevated position to photograph from, as I am a professional photographer and would that option for a higher vantage point from time to time.

Is there something I could buy and install? or would I need to find something more custom? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Westcott has floor attachments for the 5th gen roof track. Saw the already have a 6th gen rack but not sure if they will offer the plates for standing on easily

That westcott one looks perfect!! hopefully they make the floor plates for the 6th gen!

 

Gobi racks have a platform you can stand on.

This particular one has a section cut out for the sunroof. If you don't have a sunroof, the platform would extend full length.



This is what it looks like on the 5th gen. The cross bars are removable.

I like the no-rise Stealth option myself.

 

Westcott does make a 3/4 RR with floor plates for the 6G. 2025 Toyota 4Runner (6th Gen) 3/4 Roof Rack

 

In conversations with Westcott technical sales support, they advise that the floor panels can be installed in the low profile roof rack, however they cannot be installed in the very front of the assy & the far back of the assy. I am working with them right now to purchase just such a configuration + a ladder.
