Manual says, "Change Auto Trans Fluid" at 60K towing...

It doesn't say "Change some of the fluid", or "Drain and fill and only change 3 qu of fluid". It implies to change ALL the fluid unlike car care nut says. I like the guy and all but he ain't Toyota and if I'm ever asked to provide maintenance receipts for an extended warranty claim I want to have done what THEY recommend. So my question is, what is the procedure in the factory service manual for "changing ATF" ?

 

Drain and fill every 50-60 you should be ok ..

 

The procedure is a drain and fill.

If you're really that worried about an extended warranty claim, just tell the warranty company you don't use it to tow.

 

Don’t think too hard about it, even if you ignore it completely I’d bet the odds are you’ll still get an “acceptable” or “marginal” lifespan out of it at the minimum so a drain/fill around that interval will mean you’re golden.

(This is not an endorsement of never changing your transmission fluid.)

The FSM does not have any procedure for "changing" the fluid. It only has a procedure for "adjustment", which is the well known (on the internet) sequence of steps used to set the level by opening the check plug while the fluid is at the correct temp.
