I need help with wheel sizes. 16 or 17

I currently have TRD pro 16" wheels on. My plan is to get SCS F5 wheels (16x8 +0) and running 255 85 16. I am all for the pizza cutters for better MPG, taller tire, cheaper. But is it going to make me more likely to de bead when im riding on trails? Going like 20-40 on rougher dirt roads at 20-24 PSI. And keeping it around there for more rockier sections. Is it "more safe " to run 17's? I need help before I drop the money on 16 wheels and 1.1K 33's. I have the lift currently installed. Has anyone ran into issues having 33 inch tires on 16 inch wheels.

 

I have a OME MT64 2.5" lift kit with SPC upper control arms. My other plan was to just buy the 33's. Falken wildpeak 255 85 16 LT , load range c. And throw it on my current wheels and drive on those. The wheels I want wont be available till a month or so my worry is if I get those then realize I need 17's then I just dumped 1.1K down the drain. (This is also to help me settle a dispute with my brother)
