Mine in my 2016 are sagging and at 6’4”, they’re blocking some view.
Found a set at an auto recycler for $145 out the door off one with 98k miles.
    Msrp is 315 or so,
A couple online dealers have them for $220 or so.
Anyone ever try a cheaper option or have a way to repair the droopy visor?
Or got a site that sells a good one for not as much?
Mines got 217k on it, hoping for another 285 or more.
    Thanks,
    Jon

Mine is drooping on driver side. I got a used one for a Pilot I sold and was fixing interior plastic stuff. The visor was in excellent It was from ebay I think. Price around $100, but would have to look for actual cost.

Can you post a picture? I have a 2016 and my visors look brand new. Curious to see how they are degrading.

Just thought on way home that maybe a dot
or two of Velcro might be the ticket? Thoughts?

That's left over from 3rd gen 4runners. Common problem for last 20 years still.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

That is the fastest and cheapest way to fix this problem. It’s the route I would go because I rarely use my visors, so they can stay in a fixed position for all I care.

I usually leave my down anyway. All my other 4runners had same issue and passenger inner tie rod play around 225k. The visor in my Limited is so technologically advanced, it's probably starts at $200 like everything else. If it's expensive from Toyota parts. I'm not used to replacing anything on a 4runner until 300-400k.

Hi Jon, I’ve had a similar issue on a much older vehicle where the visors were covered with hand stitched vinyl. I was able to cut the stitching and dissect the visors to solve the problem. If you end up replacing your sagging visors maybe you could cut one open and take some photos so that the collective brain trust might have a look and figure out a solution for the next guy who comes along with the same issue.

I wondered if a thin plastic sleeve of tubing or hose around the peg where it snaps into the mount. I found a good OEM last time for replacement on ebay.
