Driver side cv is pulled out of the diff about 1cm. Should I be concerned?

This past weekend I replaced the driver side CV axle on my 2003 4Runner SE 4WD with a 5th gen CV axle. After installing it I noticed that the CV is pulled out of the diff about 1cm. It doesn't appear to be leaking any fluid and the truck drives fine. Should I be concerned?

 

No. That's the right spacing. I dealt with this and there is another thread where we go over this in detail.

Thank you for the info. After taking a look at the thread you sent I'm feeling more confident with this install.
