    upload_2025-5-30_18-54-52.jpg I have a 2005 4Runner Sport Edition.

All was well until I started it up this weekend and these lights popped up along with the airbag light. I used an obd scanner and “steering angle sensor” is what came back.

What’s odd is that none of the power locks work with the key phob or on the door unless the car is on, which didn’t seem related to a steering angle sensor.

I’ve been told that an alignment could play a part with these lights coming up? Not sure how to diagnose it. Anything helps

Could be your clock spring behind the steering wheel. Mine went bad a few years back. Ya gotta be careful and disconnect the battery because you will have to remove the airbag connectors if this is your problem.

Welcome from Wisconsin! We have a 2020 TRD ORP with the steering angle display. We have had at least 4 alignments (looking for that perfect alignment) and have never had the issue with the warning lights popping up. I was thinking if you had the rack and pinion replaced it would be more common to have dash lights come on, not so much with something as simple as an alignment... could be wrong, been there b-4.
