Might be the Rocky Road ones, I just ordered a set actually,
supposed to be the tightest hugging ones there are, I cant stand stepping out over ones that stick out like the factory ones.
    https://www.rocky-road.com/4runner-rock-sliders.html

edit: Looked at some other photos, I do think those are the N-Fab ones.
Look like they stick out even less than the Rocky Road ones actually, but maybe a bit less protection.
Hope the Rocky Road ones I ordered dont stick out too much :/

Looks like mine with the steps removed...
N-FAB Blackrock Rails with removable steps...
They're not true Rails tho... they do attach to the rocker panel... provides protection from some minor impact stuff but it would be bad to try and slide the rig over a boulder with these.

I was asking because I liked how tight the angle was. I’m not a huge fan of those that hang out even though it probably provides better protection. From what I’m seeing, the Ricky road sliders are the tightest fitting that also secure to the frame?

From my research, yes. I am like you, I hate them sticking out, but, needed some protection, the Rocky Road ones seemed to be a nice compromise.
Mine are on order, I will make a post once I have them installed.

These are the same I'm eyeballing, specifically because you can remove the step...

Ha That website is terrible. Hard to tell what version of the sliders you're looking at and the pictures aren't very good either.

yea not the best site, but you can tell if you read it all, they describe them.
You can get just the square tube that is right under the body, or the ones I got, the Super Sliders, that have the tubing that is angled up and hugs the body.
Or you can get ones that stick straight out, with a kicker in the back, more of a typical rock rail/step that you usually see.

Does the super slider stick out far enough to use as a step for stuff like washing the windshield or drying the top of the truck?

I ordered mine a few days ago but I don't have any tracking yet. I have no idea what the lead time is on them.
they do mention on their website that the super sliders like I ordered do stick out just enough to step onto to help loading a roof rack etc.
I am hoping that's how they turn out. Sticking out just enough to kind of get your toes on to stand on but not stick out so much that I have to step out over them when I get out of the vehicle.

Just to confirm, none of the attach to the frame, so technically not so good protection wise. I like the square tube version, but not if it’s for looks only.

Rocky Road Sliders are attached to the frame AND body pinch weld.
