Almost done with the sleeping platforms. Hinges and carpet added on the driver side. Just need to cut varying sizes of supports for the tailgate end.

I'm way curious about this side exhaust thing. I think I'd like to have that... anyone got good "pics from underneath" that I could take to my muffler-and-exhaust guys?

Did the first oil change after installing the skid plate. The two access doors are greatly appreciated. Also I hadn't greased the u-joints or slip yolks since I purchased it which is my bad but at least I finally did them today lol

You updated something that wasn't broken? You fool! I can see you've clearly never worked in the IT field. That's the standing rule "Don't fucking touch it if it's currently working."

Borrowing @Saker's photos here, but I followed his instructions and did the same modification to the stock tail piece:

Looks good, I'll be doing the same soon. Got a p/n for the gaskets (I assume you cannot re-use them)?

    Thank you, Saker and glwood54!

Hey, what's the tip on that pipe? Is that the Toyota-branded piece, or a generic one?

This was not the Pro exhaust tail piece swap. We bought the 90° elbow & stainless tip online and had them welded on after cutting off the rear portion of the oem tail piece. No gasket involved.

@Saker has a link to the writeup in his build thread.

Gave the ole 2011 headlight one last chance. Used Cerakote headlight restore. They came out ok, but they look better in the picture than in person. The issue is the plastic has slight yellow tint all the way through. No amount of sanding will change that. Good for another year then I will have to just get new assemblies.

I tried to restore these on my 2011. Made them worse and eventually went with after market ones 2 years ago.
It's amazing what a set of clean and clear headlight lenses do for the front end of the car.
