OK, this trip was in my Minnie Winnie 22R. All the time I kept thinking how much nicer the drive would have been in my 2024 4Runner. None the less.....what a great trip!
Up the West Coast from San Diego. First stop Faria Beach dry camping, Carmel, to Gold Beach Oregon. East to Bend Oregon, Caldwell Idaho, (Visited Boise Idaho), Rexburg, Yellowstone (Fishing Bridge RV Campground) For those of us who have never been to Yellowstone, it is somewhere on the top of the list. Saw dozens of Bison, a couple of Wolves. Old Faithful, etc. 4-5 inches of snow (morning of 5/19)
Then to Pocatello Idaho, Las Vegas, and home just in time to beat the Memorial Day traffic. Next time we make this trip I want to include the Grand Tetons. My butt still hurts from all the driving. All the time while driving all I kept thinking was, what a great country this is and of all the people who are just making do with their lives in such beautiful places.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
I love hearing stories like this. The best stories I hear are the ones with "Remember the time we went to (fill in the blank)?" Then I hear a 30 minute long story about the trip, the mishaps during the trip, why they went, how long they stayed, how great the scenery was, etc...

I have never heard a great story that started with "Remember the time we all stayed in to watch tv?"

And I will 2nd/3rd what others have said, post some pictures!

Amen. Well said. The wife and I have those conversations weekly. You don’t realize how beautiful this country is until you get off the paved roads and explore. We have so many….Remember when stories. We did Moab recently. So beautiful IMG_1653.jpg IMG_1655.jpg
