Full detail inside and out. Now if I can keep the wife, kid and dog out it will stay clean inside. Lol!

 

Put the awning on for the first time, even cleared the garage door, too close for comfort. Test fit and took it off, reinstall is super easy

 

Hit the dented area with hot water from a tea kettle, use a sweeping back and forth motion. It's too easy to overdo it with a hair dryer and get localized 'hot spots' that can distort (think warp/bubble.) And, hot water transfers heat to the plastic more consistently than airflow. Start with less than boiling (Tepid) and gradually work up the temperature from there.

Couldn't take the TRD Pro drone anymore, researched it here, purchased a new muffler and WHAMMO, all is good again!

 

Fiddled around with some ways to get a little more flex out of the rig today.

Ended up installing some .25” top hat spacers on top of the extended travel Dobinson's shocks. This lifted the front of the rig a bit and also earned half an inch of down travel when flexed out.

Thanks to the diff drop my CV angles are still good. Luckily, I already have upgraded front bump stops to avoid bottoming the shocks out internally. I still have about 1.5" of usable rake as well!

I did crank the wheel and inspect for any binding at full droop. No issues with the CV’s, and not too much boot bind. No contact between the coil and UCA's ball joint cup either (although it was very close)

This is about as far as I’d push a mid travel setup. Not bad for IFS.



The floor jack ran out of travel here. Used a 6" thick piece of wood to try and flex it out.

The rig still had more to go. Especially in the rear.



Loving how the rig stayed nice and level when testing cross axle articulation.

Lol! It’s fun tinkering. To be honest, I got the idea from his videos.

Top hat spacers can add some extra down travel but I can see why he said not to do it if you have extended travel shocks. It's close... And the diff drop (also against his recommendation) was certainly required here. Pretty confident I'd at least see severe boot bind or possibly bind a CV without it.

I’m curious about his recommendation for a stiffer rear sway bar as well… One thing at a time.

It's certainly fun to test the limits on these rigs. As far as mid travel goes, I'm pretty confident this is one of the flexiest setups around. Still drives great on the road too unlike the LT setups I've driven... Although maybe one day I'll get curious and start tinkering with that. I'm sure there's a way to have long travel and road manners. I just haven't experienced it yet.

I read an article and decided to check my software.
I was not having any issues with the head unit.
To my knowledge, no updates were done since I purchased in Oct 2020.

My T4R required both updates below.

Replaced the PCV Valve yesterday.

I think I'm all caught up on maintenance for another 25k or so until I hit 150k.

At 150k, I'll be doing coolant, trans, transfer case, and diff oil changes.

No doubt. My sister let her kids do that to her car. They were in for a rude awakening when they went for a ride with their uncle. I still won't ride in her car

 

I did keep my side exhaust, took my muffler shop friend a whole 15 minutes and it was done!
