Not if you have KDSS which if you have a TRD Off Road premium you most likely do.

    I have a TRDORP and I don’t have KDSS!
My TRD Skid plate fit fine..
If you have kdss , it’s possible to modify or purchase an aftermarket one for kdss version.

Not on my 24 ORP. I didn’t want it . As a matter of fact when I went looking for a 24 ORP I never came across one with it.
As to the original question yes it will fit without any issues.

KDSS equipped ORPs or ORs seemed to be pretty regional specific for some reason. For that matter, there weren't all that many non-Premium Off Roads it seems, although the ORP appeared to be the popular choice between the two, KDSS or not.

I've wondered if they tend to keep kdss equiped trucks out of the salty road states.

Perhaps. I've just read where members were looking in their region for one or the other, and had to go out of state or time zone to find what they wanted.

I don’t know how common they are here in the south. I don’t recall seeing any!

The trd skid plate will not fit without cutting the side flanges that extend upwards in the oem plate

The other plates sold online that say kdss only come without the flange, however it is still necessary to grind material to make it fit

On top of that another forum member pointed out that after some off roading, he noticed that still the plate will hit the soft rubber of the kdss system - i can confirm this happens - and additional cutting out at where the kdss sway is needed for that extra clearance

After some VIN# checking and found the window sticker, my ORP does have the KDSS as an added option which was an additional $1,750 upgrade. Originally a PA 4Runner.

So if you want the part number in your original post, you would have to modify it to fit your 4R.

Alternatively, CarTrimHome offers one that looks identical, is KDSS compatible (if selected on their site), and has an access panel for the oil filter canister. It's not quite as thick metal as the oem plate, but not significantly so. 3/16" vs. 1/4" if memory serves...

Then there are multiple other aftermarket companies who offer aluminum engine skids with oil filter access plates.

Well I'm in CT and KDSS was easy to find and when i looked there were a few out there. I would suspect KDSS would be popular in my area for the wrong reasons (improved handling). Glad i was able to get mine so easily.

I think its harder to find out west if i recall?
