I just bought a 2008 that I plan to replace the wheels and tires on essentially immediately.
i am still waiting it out on some TRD struts from a Tacoma for the front to get it leveled as a permanent solution to the suspension leveling.
however, should i give up on that dream, does a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit put me at level?
if i find the wheels i want for a good price, i may just go with the spacer leveling kit that bolts to the stock struts.
    thanks all

Bilstein 5100’s on the middle ring setting will level out your front, this was before I went full suspension 3” lift.

Got my TRD front struts on. along with some 33 inch take offs from a newer Tacoma. I have yet to make a decision on the rear shocks, but they need to be swapped relatively soon.
i do not plan on any more lift in the back

should i align ASAP or is this something i should put 500 miles on to let it “settle” and then get it aligned

Actually might be a good idea to let it settle then get an alignment. OR, get an alignment now and another alignment in like 1k miles. Now that you bring that up, i had a full Dobinsons IMS system installed and alignment at the same time. I feel like i'm getting more positive camber now as i see more wear on the outside edge of my front tires. I'm probably due for a re-alignment myself.
