Size of Stock Speakers 1997

Hey all - just looking to replace my trashed speakers in my '97 4Runner SR5. I do not need anything special. Not a huge audiophile, but just want something that will be stock or better without breaking the bank.

What size are our speakers and are there any recommendations for good value to quality? And, can you choose another size? Not sure how size change and mounting works, as I have never replaced car door speakers.

 

I've always had good luck with Crutchfield.com. They are not necessarily the cheapest, but the will tell you what size speakers your vehicle has, and purchases come with directions for panel removals and such.
