2013 Toyota limited - Quality Budget Mods

Hello All,

After purchasing my 2013 4Runner Limited in Florida and bringing it back up to the North East, I've completed some initial modifications that were within my budget. I am liking the outcome. I was making a list for my records, but thought I would post it here to get suggestions or provide info for others who are looking to do similar work on their 4Runner. I was able to DIY everything except the shocks and wheel/tire install.

Parts total: ~$1,811
Labor total: $815 (xreas delete, 5100 install, mount/balance wheels & tires, alignment)

*included in the price paid for parts I received 5 like-new oem bronco rims that I am selling. I am also going to sell the oem limited 20" wheels. So, hopefully those sales will offset some of the money I have spent so far. I also sold the original running boards for $80 and I am selling the oem roof rack.

I gotta say the Morimoto third brake light looks really good with the dark taillights, and so much brighter than the stock.
I wish it flashed. May have to look into the Super Bright Strobe Module (I put on one my shell on my '17 Tacoma) and if I can make it happen.

 

Do not neglect "make it stop" and "make it go" steps before you spend money on "make it nice".

Any of the fluids still original? Replace these first. Unless you have paperwork proving otherwise, assume PO neglected the truck.
