Scary Situation

Someone mentioned it already but “Blackstone Laboratories”. I’ll be using them next oil change myself. Just interested in the data.

 

I did purchase an extended warranty when I bought it. They are aware and I told them I expect a 100k additional warranty on the engine due to their screw up.

 

The one time I have the dealership do the oil change, they screw it up.

 

Dealerships would be better off with monkeys and AI rather than some of the mouth breathers they employ

 

Well, my dashcam caught it and the warning notice is still noted on my "audio system" so I took a picture of that in the event they say it didn't happen.

 

The alarms were recorded the whole time he drove it around the building. I have it saved.

 

And he still drove it with the alarm sounding. That guy doesn't need to be driving anyone's car's again. I hope the dealership steps up and takes care of your truck.

 

Those guys don't put the seat belts on to drive around the building. They've become immune to alarms.

 

Yep, this is a side effect of pointless set belt nagging making everyone ignore warning chimes. Seat belt chime starts beeping at you the moment you start the car, so it always happen even if you do wear seat belt.

 

200ft I wouldn't worry about damage. Being PO'd that the dealership did that is another thing. I only had 1 oil change at the dealer of the past & present 5 Toyota's done. That was on my 2018 4RunnerTRD OR. I read about this happening on the FJ forum when I owned 2 different ones. After the dealer R&R oil I checked the dip stick before I started it.
