Solenoid rapidly clicking when the vehicle rolls back

this is a roll back protection system. the brakes will come on " the clicking " if your in drive and the vehicle rolls back..
this was new to me . had GM vehicles for 40 yrs . this is not a system on my GM vehicles..
4runner is an off road vehicle so this system helps control .. on a hill stopped take foot off brake in drive vehicle will roll back then the clicking . normal..

 

before buying you should have driven the vehicle you expected to purchase and after driving the vehicle ask sales rep and then forum members about your issues/questions.

I was given a runner to test drive all day before I made my purchase .. never owned one of these so I did observe the different controls/systems then asked the questions.

these have a high trade in value so you do not like it NO problem ..
now if you purchase a GM vehicle the trade value drops like a dead balloon..
