How do you pull heater cable wire thru firewall?

    Does anone lknow best way to pull heater cable wire thru firewall from actuator to heater valve
    2000 4 runner limited with
    297,400 miles . My first post ,don't know how to navigate yet

    If you still have the old cable in place I'd tape the new cable and the old cable together so you can simultaneously pull the new cable through as you remove the old one.

    You will have to remove the center stack that surrounds HVAC control so you can attach it to the lever.

    Thanks ,I replaced cable heater control valve ,and actuator .but it still cant move the new cable . What else .,?
    But have some heat and air with cable not attached . Any ideas ,?

    So is this the wire that controls the temperature. Might be the blend door because I think that combines cold and warm air to get a certain temperature
