Anyone running the Nitto G3’s? If so…what pressure are you using? Their max load rating is at 50psi. Don’t want to have a hard ride.
    Thanks

Anyone else running these tires? I’m loosing 1.5 to 2 miles per gallon from the stock tires! I don’t do hardly any off roading so I may go back to Michelins! Don’t get me wrong, these are nice riding and quiet tires, but I don’t know if it is worth loosing that kind of mileage.

Mpg loss is typical. My AT tires weigh about 5% more over stock tires. Mileage seems down some amount -roughly 2%.
My Pirelli Scorpion AT plus are considered more highway friendly. They are very smooth and quiet and 3 peak snow rated.

The Pirelli brand is best known for high end import sports car OEM tires. My first Pirelli were used on my Austin Healy half a century ago. I liked them then and now. The Scorpion AT+ is a proven tire from a top brand.
Lots of reviews for them in Australia.

    What load range?

In SL, start at 32 and adjust as needed.

For LT tires in stock size, 44 is recommended. But, most people adjust to a lower pressure (35-38 is what I generally used with 265/70/17 LT tires.

Since your local.... are you using sheetz gas? I would always get worse mileage with sheetz gas..

    That's a pretty lightweight tire.

    Tire pressure is measured cold.

I'm guessing it's an SL based on maximum pressure and weight. In which case, you could go by the OEM tire pressure spec which is 32 PSI cold.

The tire's maximum pressure is based on maximum load. The pressure used is generally based on the vehicle's GVWR, tire size, and load rating.

    Hmmmm
I’m at about 36-37 cold now.
But I’m thinking lower pressure at 32 would also lower mpg?
I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try it.

I wouldn't expect it to be significant, especially if only a few PSI.

Some folks will base their tire pressure off a "chalk test."

I don't think you're hurting anything running a few PSI above the recommended pressure. Severely over or under-inflated tires will wear unevenly. And, could be more susceptible to a blow-out.

Apparently the G3 are are one of the lighter offroad 3PMS tires but if you do not offroad then I would trade them out. You should easily be able to offload them, as they are pretty popular ATM.
