Hello, I have a 98 4Runner, my truck was running fine no smoke out of the exhaust before this repair, I did valve cover gaskets as a preventative maintenance item. Went to start the truck and it just cranked and cranked. After I took it apart, I seem to have confused the coolant lines that run to the throttle body and vacuum line on the throttle body. I can’t find any pictures (or any good ones) of how these go on, I have since switched the two I had backwards, I pulled the plugs and Cranked it Over to get any coolant that may be in the cylinder… and the truck started up. I am now getting a ton of smoke, and it’s been after about a day of light driving still smokes on start up, will this clear? Does anyone have the same year that can get a picture of the throttle body so I can check my work please.

So, you are saying you accidently connected a vac line to a pressurized coolant line! Yikes - not good.
I would not drive the runner until I had traced out the entire vac system and cleaned every possible place the coolant could have been gone.
Coolant can possibly displace the lube/oil on a surface. Possible scaring some surfaces dependent of a film of lube.
