I've been looking at mattresses for the back of my 2020. There's so many options. I'm willing to remove the backseat for longer room. What are you using with the back seats out but leaving the fold down backrest? I'd like to build a raised platform and be at window height for storage underneath it,but it will be a project later. This is what I thinking for now. 6½ long is ideal for now.

First a cot to provide storage under and get away from conductive cold/hot cabin. Cot goes over folded 2nd row and wheel wells.
Then insulation layer if sleeping in below freezing weather. Then a closed cell backpacker pad. Top pad is a Stansport self inflating foam filled air mattress.
All of this folds/rolls small for garage storage.

The wife and I will sleep in the back with just a sleeping bag under us. We can do 2-3 nights that way but we arent sleeping well.

With how soft base suspension is, it's probably just rocking from me rolling over in my sleep.

I purchased a pair of the Deepsleep Overland mattresses for my wife & I. They’re a combination of memory foam and air, which you can add more of if you desire a firmer feel or heavy weight. Only used them 3 times, but so far so good.

An exped megamat, temperature appropriate blanket/bag, blowup camp pillow, ear plugs, window visors/shades, and a small fan lets me sleep as good as home. If the dogs don't move around much that helps even more.
