I am new to the forum and wanted to ask some advice. I am about ready to pull the trigger on purchasing either a 2025 Sport Premium or the TRD Off Road Premium. Is one better than the other? I know there are differences in function, but want to know if anyone thinks one is better and why? I mostly drive freeway but live in the country so off roading is about a third of the time. I live where we do get snow in the winter. I appreciate any feedback.

Sport here for sure. I like the way the rims/tire combo fills the tire well better I think. And I dont off road or drive in snow.

Really depends on the features either have snd if you will use them or not.

The difference between the two are in the shocks, and appearance. Most of the difference is in the appearance, where as the Sport has bigger wheels, hood scoop, color matched body work ect. Both are equally capable of driving dirt roads and doing anything you will need to do day in and day out. Do you want the painted flares and door handles and hood scoop or do you want black plastic flares and no hood scoop?

Pretty sure all the premium trims come with the full size spare.
EDIT: DANG holy crap, maybe thats a typo, there is no way they dont put a full size spare under the TRD Sport Premium ???

Go to the last line and look at the "warranty" section.
There is nothing but blank lines in the TRD Sport Premium boxes. I think someone didnt fill in all the boxes, there is no way it doesnt come with the standard 36,000 mile warranty all the other models have. Which makes me believe there is also likely a typo in the spare tire category for the TRD Sport Premium. Pretty sure i read [ALL PREMIUM PACKAGES COME WITH FULL SIZE SPARE] somewhere else.

Also, the "composite" skid plate is that fiber stuff they are using in the wheel wells now and you can certainly punch a hole in if you are going offroad. Its better to get a REAL skid plate if you are needing skid plates.

With the increases in the Msrp of the upper trims, I would be relegated to the base SR5 4X4, neither of which are on your short list. I did choose the TRD ORP when I purchased my T4R, although that was last year’s model and prices. Flip a coin or just get the TRD ORP and don’t look back! Welcome to the forum!

if you get snow I would look at a trim with FT 4WD like limited or something so you don't have to worry about shifting in and out of 4wd in the winter.

What do you consider off roading? The sport, if still a version of the limited, is probate best daily driver.

Selecting 2025 Sport Premium or the TRD Off Road Premium , options might play a good amount of decision making.

The Sport Premium I drove was well equipped with JBL sound, digital rear view mirror, etc.. which felt really nice, vs the TRD Offroad didn't have such luxury features. Even though TRD Sport got 20in wheels it didn't look like low profile compared to 18in on TRD offroad.

Now since both Sport Premium & TRD Off Road have electronic 4wd selector it won't be hard for wife/GF/daughter to use it. Vs on 5th gen TRD with manual 4wd selector its hard for a lady to use. TRD Off Road having rear diff locker is a very desirable feature. even though the TRD Offroad I drove didn't have dis connectable front sway bar I think it is an option you can get with TRD offroad. I would highly look in to that feature. (I think comes standard in TRD Pro & Trailhunter).

When talking about snow driving there is nothing better than a fulltime 4WD. I haven't driven a 2025 Limited but 5th gen 4runner Limited is so much easy to drive in snow on pavement with fulltime 4wd. Part time 4wd is inconvenient on doing tight turns at school drop off/pick ups. U turns, 100% of the time I drive over the curb not wasting others time trying to reverse and be on the pavement.
