2000 Engine stall

    When the A/C is running on a longer trip (1 hour plus), when coming to a stop the RPMs drop and the engine stalls. This also occurs if the vent fan is blowing and the rear window is lowered, the RPMs will drop, and the engine stalls. It's been so far impossible to diagnosis since the 4runner is not anywhere close to the regular repair shop, and nothing appears in the diagnostic check. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

    So it only happens when the A/C or vent is running? If those are off it doesnt stall?

    Actually, this is what happens when the Idle air control valve is clogged or dirty. Have you looked at that?
