Reverse camera goes dim

Good morning all. When I back up the reverse camera goes dim about 1 out of every 20 times. Other than that it works perfectly... well as perfect as any of these cameras work. Any ideas?

No clue, but I wished mine dimmed at night.

 

Hmm. Could be too obvious but it’s worth mentioning.

If your headlight switch is in the top two settings it will be dim.

the other thing to check is the interior light dim switch left of the steering wheel. It’s can scroll up and down. Dial it all the way up then past the tactile “click”
That’s max brightness for your dash cluster and infotainment screen.
