I am not brand new since I joined the forum a couple years ago, but never posted anything here. My 4Runner is a 2014 SR5, with:

    Rock sliders from MetalTech
3/2 Ultimate Lift from Toytec Lifts
    Wheels from VTX
    BFG K02 285/70/17 tires.

Looking for more opportunities to get out on the trail. I am more available mid-week than on the week ends.

By the way, can anyone tell me how to send a private message? I have looked high and low and can't find a way.

Welcome! I have the same rig (including the color), just one year newer. I really like what you did with your mods. I am looking at doing almost the same exact thing except for the rock rails. How much lift (inches) did it change? I only want to increase 1.5"-2" and I love your look.

The lift I installed is a set of components from ToyTech Lifts called the "3/2 Ultimate Lift". (3 inches in the front, 2 inches in the back.) My suspension lift turned about to be closer to 3.5/2.5 inches, but then my rig was supposedly riding 1/2 inch lower than the "spec". The "suspension lift" is measured from center hub to the fenders. I got additional lift and ground clearance as a result of replacing the stock 265/70/17 tires with 285/70/17s, so the final lift with respect to the ground is about 4/3 inches. I am really happy with it. Love the way it rides, and it just feels right for the vehicle.
