    Hello everyone.
Just got my first 4runner as a project and was wondering what it could be worth after I'm done with it. Any advice or maybe recommendations would be appreciated. Will be building out of Colorado.
    About the beast:
currently has 182,xxx miles with the 3.6L V6. automatic, engine starts a little rough at times (assuming bad fuel). It didn't start when I picked it up and now I just want to clean it up before trying to check the transmission and differentials. The last owner had it garage kept.

-The frame is clean, slim to no rust, as well as the body
-I bought it with a rebuilt salvage title
-Has all glass and powered everything works so far
the back half of the vehicle seems pretty straight

I'm going to give it a full tune-up, repair fuel leak (leaking around injectors), timing belt (since I'm already elbow deep in this) w/ water pump, electrical connectors as I come across them. buddy is a welder so he'll be helping with the little framework that is needed.

    About me:
I've worked on helicopters and tanks professionally, '66 Plymouth was my first project, before turning to Euro cars such i.e. BMW, Mercedes, and VW. Currently working and maintaining GMC Duramax's. Have also done heavy equipment repairs on various vehicles as they come across my path. (these all over the past 12 years)

If you curious about the project:

Man, with that radiator support off everything is right there. My opinion only, but when your finished breathing on her, don’t sell her immediately, drive her around for a few months and enjoy not only one of Toyota’s most reliable power plants, but being part of a cool club known as 4Runners.com! Welcome to the forum, Greg!

Mines insured for $15k. Would I sell it for that? Prob not.
And by now its considered an "antigue" vehicle which gives you certain perks. You can do anything you want to it. Put a completely different body on it? Or install a V8?
