I just installed these fog lights. On the passenger side, I was able to stick the connector up underneath the splash shield.

On the drivers side, I did zip tie the connector so it's not just hanging down, but the connector is still very exposed.

Is there anything you can think of that's used to clip over an exposed connector for water protection?

I'm thinking about something like those little "clams" you can get to put over a tooth brush head. Does anything like this exist for wire connectors?

Over the past several years, I've used dielectric grease on all my connection that are exposed to the elements. This might be the way to go for your concerns with moisture issues and other contaminants.

Dielectric grease in the connection and wrap the outside with electrical tape.

I've not used dielectric grease on bulbs before. Do you use it liberally? Like put a pretty good glob on each prong?

Not a whole lot. Kinda like a little smear.
