I have a 2006 4runner 4wd 4.0 @ 235k miles. After I had a minor accident, this horrible sound comes and goes when in Drive and Reverse, under load, and at right about 500 rpm . I can get it to stop by idling it up (like moving the steering wheel for the power steering pump) or by the oil pressure slightly raising it. that causes the ticking to go away after that and while driving, it’s completely gone . It runs and drives and has no power loss etc . Suggestions? https://youtube.com/shorts/6Q6r0ksUKxY?si=WTj2FLuShFpMdOCm

Is it an exhaust heat shield rattling?

I checked the three heat shields underneath past the cats and on the cats, nothing is loose or broken or anything . I’m gonna have to get someone else to help with figuring it out since it only does it sometimes under load, any other suggestions I should look into?

Check your skid plates yet? See if it’s missing a bolt or if it’s loose.

Sounds like exhaust, even an exhaust leak. Lots of the exhaust to check.
