My rear power window on hatch gate will not roll down; when I push the button, it wants to roll down, but gets stuck. Any advice on how to repair, and get to mechanism?

mechanism is accessed by removing the bolt that holds on the little pull strap on the interior panel, then popping off that back trim piece on the door. From there if i remember right, a couple of black panels cover the guts of the window inside the hatch. remove those bad boys and you can see most of the mechanism.
