Has anyone installed additional USB ports near the cup holder, behind the shifter? There are those two open spots next to the rear window, I was thinking of adding something there for the front passenger.

    Thanks for any insight.

Thanks, I was hoping for a replacement for one of the two blank rectangular spots next to the rear glass switch. I don't think I need 3, just want to add a port for passenger charging.

I don't know for sure how it looks under there but I bet the difference in distance wiring from the tray to the rectangles would be trivial since those are switch blanks.

I bet you can either pull them out from below easily or drill into those blanks and just use 'em.

Both high voltage/amperage for quick charging. Dash two, are always hot. Key on or off. Also hooked up to my head unit, for music files.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
If you're wanting to use the USB-C for charging a cell phone, consider this instead:

I have a similar flush type charger in 12v outlet.

(It's removable for me to plugin my laptop charger)
Can't share the exact once as Aukey flush type ones that I purchased March 2019 are no more available.

Inside the center console I have this splitter. Working since June 2021

On the blank slot near drivers door I have this charger. Working since April 2021.
