I also agree you might be asking for trouble but if you keep it, might as well add: and don’t strip the skid plate bolts

 

I agree. Instead of insulting the potential technician who works on the truck I would have written "Every time you over tighten a bolt, God kills a kitten. Please don't be a kitten killer."

Now that I think more about it, it would be a good reminder to yourself when you start doing your own oil changes.

Hmmm. When I bought my 4runner I got free oil changes+tire rotations. I used 0 of them.

I did 1 on my 2018 4R TRD OR. Did 5k oil & filter my self & will continue to also on this one as long as I'm able.!

 

That's better. I actually did open my mouth and laughed out loud!

 

If I was a tech and saw such an insult (mouth breather?), I'd get a 3/4 breaker bar and three feet of pipe and REALLY crank that filter down.
It'd take "heat wrench" to get it off. And I'd laugh the whole time I was doing it...

So the oil filter will be put on as requested, but the drain plug, that’s another story (said the technician as he cranks up the impact tool to 140 psi…)

yeah, I'm a nice guy and consider myself pretty mature but if I am a tech and read that, the situation will not end well.
